Electromagnetic waves

In physics, electromagnetic radiation refers to the waves of the electromagnetic field, including radio waves, microwave ovens, infrared, light, UV, X-rays and gamma rays. Radio waves are made by lightning or astronomical objects. Artificial radio waves are used for fixed and portable radio communication, broadcasting, radars and other navigation systems, communication satellites, computer networks and countless other applications.

Microwaves are used for spaceship communication, and in most of the world’s data, television and telephone communications, microwave distances are transmitted between terrestrial stations and communications satellites. Microwave ovens also work in microwave ovens and radar technology.
